RAINCOATS

HELLY HANSEN, SPRING/SUMMER 2017

Sixth semester internship project, made in 2015 as part of my Bachelor at VIA Design.

In connection with a twelve week long design internship at Helly Hansen’s main office in Oslo, a report and design project were made alongside the experience, for which I took it on me to reinterpret five of their bestselling performance jackets into urban women’s jackets, with additional functions added according to the results of a user survey, and a touch of my own design preferences.

The result was a mini-collection consisting of five water-repellant women’s jackets, with smart interactive functions, and available in refreshing colour combinations — in the true spirit of Helly Hansen.
